Chef At Home may be our signature product, but KiaSal is more than capable of traditional catering as well, from charcuterie boards and self-serve buffets, to sit-down banquets or cocktail parties. Let us make your next event special by planning a menu tailored to your wants and budget.
We handle events ranging from casual parties, to corporate, weddings, birthdays and more. Whenever there's a venue in need of good food across Greater Sudbury, we'll be there!
Many catering services force you to pick from a limited menu with only ridged options, at KiaSal we tailor a menu to your event with as many or few courses as you require. We're happy to tweek menu offerings for dietary restrictions and allergies and tailor a unique experience that fits your event perfectly.
We can provide everything from serving staff, buffet equipment, plates & cutlery, to even seating and tables if your event requires them. Let our event planner take care of everything, from venu bookings to decor and rest assured you're in good hands with KiaSal.
Our pricing system separates out the food items from the service package, letting you build the exact service you want, with the exact menu you want. Simply select your service package, and any add-ons below; then select items from our menus. You can either specify quantities, or let us recommend quantities based on your expected number of guests and the type of function planned.
Our pricing works on a sliding scale, with quantity discounts kicking in at 50, 100 and 150 of each item respectively. This also applies to service types with a price range listed, changing based on number of guests, and variety of food items ordered. Contact us for quotes and availability.
Service Packages:
Drop off only:
We drop off food hot in disposable liners for chafing pans and other containers as needed, nothing extra.
Containers included
- Starting at 1.65 per person.
- Delivery fee: 45.65 within Sudbury.
Drop + Buffet Rental:
We drop off food hot along with chafing dishes and hot-holding boxes, with disposable liners to make taking home any leftovers easier. Pay for only the chafing-ware you need. All buffetware must be returned empty, rinsed & without any remaining food adhered.
Damage deposit for rented equipment is required. Returning excessively dirty items may result in a cleaning fee.

Self Serve Buffet:
We bring in buffetware, 2 staff and set up just the buffet, maintaining it for the duration of service (up to 6 hours). Guests serve themselves.
- Includes buffet-wares, buffet tables & buffet linens.
Service is subject to gratuities based on total number of servers and guests, more staff may be brought for very large quantities of people.
- 395.95 for up to 50 guests, plus the cost of selected menu. Includes up to 3 courses.
- + 47.75 per additional additional 25 guests after the initial 50.
- + 65.65 per additional course.
- + 25.25 for an extra starter.

Full Serve Buffet:
We bring in buffetware and enough staff to cater to the number of dishes and guests. Servers will bus tables of dirty dishes and keep everything clean.
- Includes buffet-wares, buffet tables & buffet linens.
- Includes basic dinnerwares (plates, cutlery & napkins).
Service is subject to gratuities based on total number of servers and guests, total staff will vary with total number of guests.
- 889.95 for up to 50 guests, plus the cost of selected menu. Includes up to 3 courses.
- + 199.95 per additional 25 guests after the initial 50.
- + 265.95 per additional course.
- + 95.95 for an extra starter.

Plated Service:
Meals plated and served directly to table by our serving staff, banquet style. Total staff will be calculated according to guests attending.
- Includes basic dinnerwares (plates, cutlery & napkins).
- Includes water & wine glasses.
Service is subject to gratuities based on total number of servers and guests. Loss deposit required for dinnerwares.
- 1750.00 plus the cost of food (suitable for 50 guests or less). Includes up to 3 courses.
- + 375.00 per additional 25 guests after the initial 50.
- + 495.00 per additional course.
- + 195.00 for an extra starter.

Cocktail Package:
Servers will circulate with trays of canapes and other hors d'oeuvres while one of our bartenders mixes drinks; all serving equipment included.
Two servers, one bartender, basic drinks service, glasswares, bar set-up, serving platters and cocktail plates, up to 6 hours.
Plus choose two signature cocktails for the evening!
We require at least 80 days notice if this is to be held outside of a private residence to secure an SOP to serve alcohol, SOP fees may apply.
- 998.95 for up to 40 guests, plus the cost of selected food and alcohol.

Summer BBQ Package:
A commercial-grade BBQ, trained chef, server, pup-tent and mini buffet for salads, condiments and sides.
Service is subject to gratuities based on total number of guests.
Includes a choice of One (1) of the following premium options:
- Steak on a Bun.
- Grilled Chicken on a Bun.
- Grilled Whitefish on a Bun.
- Grilled Shrimp Skewers on a Tortilla.
- Beyond Meat Burgers.
A choice of Two (2) of the following options:
- Beef Burgers & buns.
- BBQ Porkloin chops & buns
- Spicy Sausage on a bun.
- Mild Sausage on a bun.
- All Beef Frankfurters & buns.
- Roasted Sweet Corn.
- Grilled Veggies (zucchini, mushroom & sweet peppers)
- Trade both for One (1) choice from the upper list.
And a choice of One Dressing, One Salad Base & One Topping Kit type from our Salad Menu. (Some selections may incur additional costs).

- 1265.65 base for roughly 30-40 portions of each protein/veg (depending on your selections) and 30-35 portions of salad and dressings.
- + 367.65 per additional set of 30-40 portions added on (roughly 30-40 of each selected option).
- + 225.00 per 30-40 portions for an extra choice of premium option.
- + 112.50 per 30-40 portions for an extra choice of regular option.
- + 388.65 for a extra-wide BBQ and an extra cook. (recommended for guest counts over 100, or for more than one extra option)

Have 50 or fewer guests? We'll knock 75.00 of the price and bring a smaller sized BBQ! (Not available if extra options are selected.)
Pasta Bar:
A trained cook will toss up pasta, sauces and toppings fresh and hot right before you and your guest's eyes on portable stoves.

- Your choice of noodle-type.
- Includes 3 sauces to choose from (alfredo, rosé and marinara).
- Includes your choice of 2 of the following proteins: Chicken, Shrimp, Sausage, Ground Beef, Beyond Beef.
- Includes your choice of 6 of the following toppings:
Mushroom, Bell Peppers, Diced Tomato, Diced Onion, Ricotta Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Fried Spinach, Broccoli, Italian Cheese Blend, Soffritto-Mix (spaghetti vegetables).

Basic Drinks Package:
Sodas, water, juice, ice and glasswares, plus a bar cart. A good foundation for cocktails or mocktails to be served.

Bar Package:
A mobile bar and trained bartender to man it, glasswares, ice and other ingredients perfect for BYO booze or let us craft a cocktail menu and handle the ingredients. Includes basic drinks package, glasswares, cab vouchers & light snacks for up to 35.

An extra server to help out during the event, bussing tables, serving drinks, etc.

Rent a Tender:
Have your own bar and booze? Want someone to mix drinks and serve? This is the option for you! You can also add this to the bar package as well.
Service is subject to gratuities based on total number of guests.
- 300.00 for up to 6 hours.
- 25.00 off if ordered with a Bar Package.

Services involving liquor held outside a private residence must have at least 80 days notice to acquire an SOP for the distribution of alcohol and are subject to a $150.00 permit fee. Adding liquor to a service subject to a surcharge.
All Service Packages account for 3 courses over up to 6 hrs; consisting of up to two (2) entree options; two (2) starters; four (4) sides; and one (1) dessert. Prices for additional courses/starters may vary with total guest count.
A $2500 minimum before taxes, delivery fees and gratuities applies to all orders outside Delivery-only. Delivery-only orders are subject to a minimum of $500 before taxes, delivery fees, and gratuities.
